Institute for American Indian Studies

Admission: $5 for adults

Children and teens through age 17 are free.

This program, presented by IAIS from Washington, CT, will introduce you to the history, culture, and life-ways of Connecticut�s Indigenous Peoples through hands-on experiences. Their educator will pass around artifacts, replications, furs, tools, and clothing while explaining how the Indigenous culture interacted with the land here in Connecticut for over 13,000 years.
